How To Automatically Grant Users Access To Membership Courses

To automatically grant access to membership courses in Intellia, you can use Workflows to automate the process when a user takes a specific action (like signing up or making a purchase).

Here's how to set it up:

Step 1 : Set Up the Membership Course Offer

• Ensure you have already created the Membership Course and its corresponding Offer in the Memberships section.

• If you haven’t created an offer yet, follow the previous steps on creating an offer.

Step 2 : Create a Workflow for Automatic Access

• Go to Automation in the left-hand menu.

• Click on Workflows, then select + New Workflow to create a new automation sequence.
• You can start from scratch or use a pre-built template. Choose Start from Scratch for a customized setup.

Step 3: Set the Trigger for Granting Access

The first step is to define what action will trigger the workflow. Common triggers include:

• Order Form Submission: Automatically grant access when a user purchases a course.

• Form Submission: Trigger when a user fills out a form (e.g., opting in for a free course).

• Tag Added: Use this if you want to add access when a specific tag is applied to a contact.

Example for purchase-based access:

• Click Add New Trigger.
• Choose Order Form Submission and select the form linked to the course offer.
• This will trigger the workflow every time someone purchases the course.

Step 4 : Add the Action to Grant Access

• After setting the trigger, click + to add a new action.

• Select Grant Offer Access from the action list.

• In the action settings, choose the Offer (the course) that you want to grant access to.

• This will automatically enroll the user in the membership course after they complete the trigger action.

Step 5 : Send a Confirmation Email (Optional)

• If you want to send a confirmation email after access is granted, click + Add Action and choose Send Email.

Step 6 : Save and Activate the Workflow

• Once you have configured the workflow, click Save.
• Activate the workflow by toggling the Publish switch.

Step 7 : Test the Workflow

• To ensure everything works as expected, test the workflow by going through the trigger action (e.g., making a test purchase or filling out a form).
• Verify that the user receives access to the course automatically.
